Happy Holidays From San Antonio Texas!

Every year, the day after Thanksgiving, San Antonio hosts it's annual tree lighting in Alamo Plaza and has it's annual Holiday River Parade. This year the huge tree is trimmed in red, white, and blue lights to honor our military.

I've never been to San Antonio but I have friends who have and I would love to see it because they loved it. Now I can see why. These pictures are gorgeous. So festive.

Thanks Barb. Folks do love to visit San Antonio for a variety of reasons but I think the Riverwalk and Alamo are still the main draw that makes it the most popular tourist attraction in Texas.

I love the trees wrapped in lights along the river, Anna. It's such a magnificent scene. What a great idea to use the river that way for Christmas.

Thanks Jess! We have a number of military bases here in San Antonio and it's very appropriate we honor them...they do so much for us. I do hope you get a chance to visit us. The food and scenery is great.
